They include some of Elgar’s best-known compositions. Edward Elgar was born in 1857 in the small village of Lower Broadheathan in England. His father’s name is William Henry Elgar. Edward Elgar have six siblings and he was the fourth of them. Edward began composing at an early age and studied piano and violin. His father was an apprentice of a London music publisher and worked as a piano tuner and owned a shop selling music and musical instruments.  The mother of Edward Elgar also enjoyed the arts and encouraged Edward’s musical development.
